At one point when I was blogging, I felt stuck, I had consistent views, but I wasn’t really growing. I started doing some research and came across a few tips that helped me get out of the funk and learn to fall in love with my blog again! I am so excited to share these tips with you!

Expert
To me, an expert blogger can mean anything from blogging for 5+ years or you have only been blogging for a few years, but are looking for ways to refresh your blog. I know, in the beginning, I had so many ideas and blog posts; I had a hard time sleeping because I just wanted to write them all down. In the blog post, I will give you refreshing ideas for your blog and hopefully a new love for blogging!

Grammarly
One of the best things you can do for your blog
When you sign up, you can pay for a whole year upfront for $11.66 a month; billed annually. This will be what separates you from the other bloggers. If you do not want to pay for the premium, there is the option of downloading the free version right onto your Mac. You can upload documents onto Grammarly and it will check them for any errors.
Install Word Count

If you search for Word Count on your WordPress plugins, you can install it right on your site. I always check to see how long my post is before publishing it. If it is too short, I try to go back to see where I can add more value for my readers.
Join Tailwind Tribes
Like I said before, Pinterest and your blog should be best friends! Tailwind is a scheduling tool for Pinterest – and so much more! On T
When I first joined, my views increased by 6,250%. That is huge! I highly recommend joining Tailwind. It is
Join Hootsuite
Another great scheduling tool to utilize is Hootsuite. I use this to schedule my previous blog posts, just to keep them refreshed on my Facebook page or Twitter. You can also utilize Hootsuite in Facebook groups. I use them when I want to create a specific chat with fellow bloggers, but I can be traveling and not have to worry about sitting down to post something. There is a free version of Hootsuite that can be used. If you want the professional version it is $29 a month (with a 30-day free trial).
Email Incentives
Another great way to refresh your blog and maintain your readers is by creating an email list. It is not enough to have that list, but why should your readers sign up? There should be some sort of incentive for them to sign up! I have extensive packing lists, Instagram hashtags to get you featured, and many more! These incentives give your readers value, and also it is a great way to see what your readers are interested in!
I always leave an incentive at the end of the blog post, and it always has some connection with the topic of that blog post. This ensures the reader’s interest!
Affiliate Links
If you are looking to make money from your blog a great way to do this is affiliate marketing! Amazon Associates is the perfect one to start out with! If you have a product on your blog, you can get a link through Amazon and use that link in your post. Whenever your readers click and buy anything through that link. You receive a commission off that sale. I have created packing lists that are just perfect for monetizing through Amazon! Reviews or gift guides are also great posts to use these links as well!
If you are looking for more affiliate links, another great one I use is booking.com. I am about to find the hotel we stayed in through my account and I use that link on my post. Any time someone books a stay through that link and complete a stay I get a small commission. Keep in mind this is at no extra cost to your readers!
I would caution you not to go crazy with these links in your post, every single paragraph does not need an affiliate link. Also, stick to what works for your blog! If you are a travel blogger, stick to booking.com and Skyscanner. Find affiliate links you know your reader would be interested in and something you can honestly recommend!
If you have any questions, be sure to leave a comment below or you can email me!

May 13, 2019 at 9:45 amI like your tip for email lists. I’ve wanted to do my own but everyone’s incentives are always like planners and stuff, which is great but that doesn’t suit every blog.

I have a few ideas rolling around in my head. I love your outside of the box thinking! I pinned this for later reference. Thanks!
