Creating a bucket list is important for turning travel your dreams into a reality. It gives you a purpose for your explorations and goals to achieve. But where do you even start when creating a bucket list? Here are a few tips on how to create the perfect bucket list.
Creating a massive list with hundreds of items will seem impossible to complete. Instead, create seasonal bucket lists or yearly bucket lists (20**(year) Bucket List or Things I want to complete in my 20s). You can also break it down into categories. Such as adventure, food, nature, and local experiences. This will condense your list and make it seem more doable. To start, I recommend writing down the first few items that come to your mind.
I wrote down my top 3 goals:
Seeing all 7 Wonders of the World
Exploring every National Park in the USA
Visiting every Continent in the world
From there I added what are my top 4 countries I would like to visit, what adventures I would like to take, and the different foods I would like to try in different places. Feeling stuck, don’t be afraid to search for ideas! Google and Pinterest always have great suggestions! I also give a few examples below:
